Grignolino d'Asti is one of several varietal wines made in Asti in the northwest Italian region of Piemonte. This light colored red lacks the prestige enjoyed by its local counterparts Barbera d'Asti, Dolcetto d'Asti and particularly Moscato d'Asti.
